Diesel Mechanic

If you know your way around a wrench, you’ll fit right in.

Get your hands dirty while keeping equipment running. Oil changes, diagnostics, field repairs—you name it. You’ll be out in the field, driving a service truck with your tools, tackling whatever the Bakken throws at you.

Job Duties

  • Conduct preventative and basic maintenance on trucks, trailers, and oilfield equipment.
  • Use computerized tools and equipment to diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues.
  • Repair and maintain diesel engines and diesel components used in various vehicles and diesel equipment.
  • Accurately and efficiently diagnose diesel engine conditions and make necessary repairs.
  • Perform field repairs in all conditions—rain, snow, mud, or shine.
  • Drive and operate a fully loaded service truck to and from job sites within a 100-mile radius.
  • Communicate effectively with team members.
  • Perform quality control.
  • Meet requirements for certifications.
  • Ensure all repairs meet safety and regulatory standards—no shortcuts.
  • Keep detailed service records for all repairs and maintenance work.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Pay

  • $35+/hr DOE
CDL Driver

Class A CDL? Solid work ethic? You’re in.

You’ll run a nice flatbed pickup or semi tractor/trailer—hauling gear and keeping equipment moving. Nothing over the road—you’ll be home every night. We move when the oilfield moves, so we have an on-call schedule for transport. But you’ll know your schedule in advance, so there will be no surprises.

Job Duties

  • Transport oilfield equipment safely and efficiently within a 100-mile service radius—no overnights.
  • Visually inspect before and after loading trucks and report all defects/equipment problems to supervisor.
  • Comply with all Department of Transportation and driving regulations.
  • Ability to operate a variety of material handling equipment. Wheel loader experience is preferred.
  • Load and secure equipment properly to prevent damage or shifting during transport.
  • Drive and maintain a fully loaded flatbed pickup—your truck, your responsibility.
  • Assist with rig-ups and rig-downs when needed.
  • Adapt to unpredictable oilfield conditions—mud, ice, rough terrain.
  • Drive semi with step-deck and lowboy trailers.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Successful Candidate Requirements

  • Hazmat endorsement (or willingness to obtain)

  • Experience hauling wheel loaders/manlifts or heavy loads
  • Knowledge of oilfield roads and terrain
  • Ability to chain up and navigate icy conditions
  • Basic truck maintenance and troubleshooting skills
  • Ability to communicate clearly with dispatch and field teams
  • Strong sense of responsibility

Pay

  • $32+/hr DOE
Restroom Service Operator

Not afraid of a little dirt? Good.

You’ll be out in the field, with your own assigned truck, keeping job site restrooms clean and where they need to be.

Job Duties

  • Transport portable hygiene rentals to and from customers within a 100-mile radius.
  • Clean and maintain job site restrooms—inside and out—both on location and at NOVA Oilfield Services HQ.
  • Refill supplies and ensure all units are stocked, sanitized, and ready to roll.
  • Move, set up, and relocate units as needed.
  • Operate service trucks and pumping equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Communicate with dispatch and field teams to coordinate service routes.
  • Adapt to unpredictable job sites—mud, snow, rough terrain—it’s all part of the deal.
  • Other duties as assigned.
